This thumball is a great tool for exploring personal characteristics that often don't get thought about let alone discussed. Each panel lists 3 virtues or values that begin with the same first letter. For example, Opinionated, Organized, and Outgoing or Gentle, Graceful, and Generous. One of our favourite method of facilitation with this thumball is to ask for the participant to choose which of the three virtues listed in the panel where their thumb lands do they identify with the most. Other option could include: "Which one is the post important", "Which one would out like to improve at the most", or "which one do you feel is the most worthwhile characteristic for a friends to have, and the list goes on....
